Several clients have said that they chose us instead of a large construction firm because they knew exactly who they would be working with. I am responsible for everything, from the initial site visit with the client, through design, planning, estimating, permitting,scheduling, field supervision, project management, to the final completion of the home.  Lindsay takes care of all the design work and guiding the client through the design process.

I began my career with over a decade in the field of

hydrogeology and environmental consulting, including a

senior-level position with the North Carolina Department of

Environmental Quality, and six years in a project management

position with a large civil engineering firm.

 

The path to building homes started with a summer commercial

construction job with two high school friends. Twenty years

later, in 1995, my wife and I managed the construction of the

home we have lived in since, and then in 2000, I

circled back to building. Starting with a strong background

in project management and early experience in

construction, I have been a general contractor building

homes in Buncombe, McDowell, Transylvania, and Henderson

County in Western North Carolina.

When I'm not at work I enjoy being out on the trails, mountain 

biking, hiking, running with my dog, distance swimming in 

beautiful mountain lakes, anything in Pisgah National Forest

or Dupont State Forest in the North Carolina mountains.

Loblolly Designs, our preferred design partner, brings a holistic

approach to project. Founder and designer Lindsay Wright

combines over twelve years of experience in high-end

residential design-build with expertise in drafting, interiors,

and project management, ensuring the process is seamless,

efficient, and client-focused.

 

Over the course of her career, Lindsay has worked on projects

of all scales and styles - from quaint cottages and traditional 

low country homes to expansive mountain modern retreats and

yacht-inspired residences. She is committed to creating designs

that reflect her clients' lifestyles while ensuring the

home-building experience is both enjoyable and stress-free.

Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys camping in the Montana

wilderness and restoring vintage travel trailers with her

husband.
